As human beings, we are not able to survive without love. Most of us have been lucky enough to grow up with a loving family. Without the love from the people in my life, I would not be who I am today. Often we take our loved ones for granted, without thinking about what the consequences of tomorrow may bring. My biggest fear is the fear of regretting not telling the people that I love, that I love them, and making sure that I am not just saying it, I truly mean it. That is why I strive to live my life and love as we should in 1 Corinthians 13. Life is hard and to love as we should is a challenge. With the world as it has evolved today, many more challenges are thrown our way which we must overcome in order to make a success of every relationship we have. Whether it be a friendship, family bond or lover bond, each relationship we build requires love in order to be successful.

LoVe*
Love can be so many things, but there is one section of the Bible that describes love in the best way possible, the only way it should be described... 1 Corinthians 13:4-13 says "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
As human beings, we are not able to survive without love. Most of us have been lucky enough to grow up with a loving family. Without the love from the people in my life, I would not be who I am today. Often we take our loved ones for granted, without thinking about what the consequences of tomorrow may bring.
